Module Syllabus:
Three Pillars of Study

In the Meditation Teacher Program, students will learn core aspects of awareness, compassion, and wisdom. Students will then develop and nurture teaching skills founded on these core aspects, with the ultimate goal of applying these skills beyond the classroom in diverse contexts.

First pillar to develop the foundation:

  • Awareness: Establish a practice that helps you recognize your innate qualities.
  • Compassion: Generate intuitive kindness and the space in which it can be shared.
  • Wisdom: Cultivate an understanding of our innate wisdom by investigating how things truly are.

Second and third pillars to deepen skills to flourish as a teacher:

  • Facilitating Discussions: Develop skills to give space for learning.
  • Presentation and Dharma Talks: Learn modern methods to share concepts and practices.
  • Designing Curriculum: Learn to design and implement a structured learning experience.
  • Coaching, Mentoring, and Practice Interviews: Deepen your skills in sharing wisdom and nurturing students.
  • Building Rapport: Learn essential skills to connect with your audience and become a successful meditation teacher.
